Attendance Recording in Government Offices

Late coming and leaving early from the office is a common happening. Various District heads have also reported this from time to time. Fingerprint based (Biometric) Time Attendance Recorders is an answer to this problem.

This is a time and attendance monitoring system aimed at setting up a foolproof system based on the fingerprint identification technology. The system records details such as time of their arrival and departure apart from maintaining information regarding the employees and their department, shifts, location, leaves status etc.

This device and software eliminates paperwork and time spent in tracking employees. It can also be used for related personnel administration functions such as payroll. It effectively resolves proxy entry problems common to other employee monitoring systems.

It is economical and easy to use and offers an easy and economic way of organizing employee related information. It eliminates paperwork and time spent in maintaining employee details.

I would suggest to install such systems in all Central and State Government Offices. I have read newspaper reports that Ghaziabad district administration is soon going to have this system.

Public money should not be used to buy these systems. These systems should be outsourced on use per employee basis. On deployment of this system work load on the existing employees engeged in marking attendence, maintaining records and preparing payrools will reduce. A lot of cost can be cut with much more transparency and efficiency.
